Last night I watched this documentary “The Imam & The Pastor” at the Rumah Saya Anak Bangsa Malaysia. It was a documentary made in Nigeria on the conflict between Muslim and Christian community which resulted thousands of civilians killed during the last decade of the 20th century.

Pastor James lost his right hand while Imam Muhammad Asahfa had 2 relatives killed. Both were looking for revenge against one another, but soon they realised that it was not the true teaching of their religion to seek for revenge and hatred. It was then both comes together through dialogue and discussion to settled differences between the Muslim and Christian community.

Nigeria made it through because there was no political motives, can we make it with UMNO and it’s paper Utusan constantly instigating people’s emotion?
